Malcolm was encouraged to apply for an appointment on the Planning Commission in Live Oak. He filled out the paper work, submitted it and attended the City Council Meeting last night. There were four applicants who presented themselves - when they concluded, Malcolm was appointed to the Commission. Today he had his swearing in and is taking a couple of courses that are required. I am so pleased and think he will be an asset as he has had quite a lot of experience working with cities and personnel in different agencies. This opportunity will be good, as he has the time and interest to be helpful in our community.
