Malcolm and Patsy Sharing Some Memories With You

We had a wonderful and full vacation the past couple of weeks.  We first wanted to visit my Sister Val in Sequim, WA but they had a family emergency and had to drive to Arkansas, so we visited the town anyway and enjoyed the quaint little town.  We stayed in Olympia for a couple of nights, then on to Malcolm's Sister Kathi's in Arlington, Washington.  We were there for a few days and saw the Chilhuly garden of glass and attended a Giants/Mariners ball game.  We ate out and saw some sights in a small village and generally just enjoyed ourselves, ending up with ice cream and strawberries.  Then we went to Todd and Billie's in Tillmook and spent a couple of days with them, eating, visiting, sharing photos , eating out and enjoying their home.  Todd had built a garage and apartment so it was fun to see the improvements.  We ate out one evening;, had a barbecue, the had breakfast at the Tillamook Creamery.  We stopped on the way home and saw Brittany and Jim on our way home in Monroe, Oregon and had a good visit with them too.  We enjoyed the cool and rainy weather in Washington and Oregon while it was hot at home.  Great Trip!!!

Love this quote from Proverbs 22:6
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Malcolm has had quite a few interesting T shirts which he was not wearing so we cut out the logos and inserted them in a blue background and made a quilt top.  This year for his birthday, I put the quilt together and tied it for him.  He as pleased and it is a soft and comfortable light quilt with memories!
